Richest Yet Sickest

1 in 3 will do cancer
1 in 3 are considered obese
2 in 3 are considered overweight
1 in 5 have allergies
1 in 15 have asthma
1 in 17 have type 11 diabetes
and the list goes on....

What's the old saying? Look left, look right and if it's not them it's you? This list of illness makes me wonder what's become of us, within our families, extended families, friends, and even our work environment. It's unacceptable to think that between you and two friends, one will have cancer.

We are the richest and the sickest, we invest (?) billions of dollars into medical research and here we are with illness on the rise.

The truth is we all sick people, in fact, take heart issues, we all know someone with a pacemaker or who's had a heart attack. Did you know heart failure is the major cause of death in our country, over 500,000 heart operations a year.

Most of us are too busy living our lives to realize the depth to which our food has become degraded. We accept that our water is certainly over treated with chemicals, somehow we justify that it's safe. And we are deluding ourselves that bottled water is pure, and take out food can be healthy..

Our body is 70% water, our blood is 96% water, we are mostly water, i.e., we live in a water filled environment, it's not a far reach to think we should be concerned with the pH of our water!
Many of us chemically induce our swimming pools to a neutral pH because if we didn't it would discolor and grow micro organisms. We naturally need to induce our bodies to a neutral pH or the same thing will happen and the consequence is first symptoms, chronic symptoms, then dis-ease and diagnosis..

Hydration is primary, water is a carrier, allow it to carry lemon juice, lime juice, green foods, better yet an alkalizer like Prime pH from InnerLight. Then hydrate a quart a day for every 50 pounds of body weight. (If your body is 100 pounds, you are 70 pounds of water, note that every quart of water weighs 2 pounds, so to give yourself a visual, for every hundred pound of body weight you should visualize 35 quarts of water, 200 lbs = 70 quarts.) We must first keep our level of water at or above 70%. so we need to hydrate, and we also must exchange the water with some regularity..

Supplementation is the difference between the nutrition your body requires and the nutrition you are receiving from your diet. Food needs to be easily digested and highly nutritious so our body can uptake the nutrition, break it down and send it through the blood stream where it becomes cellular nutrition - or we need to supplement with cellular nutrition like SuperGreens which is comprised of 49 different vegetations in particle form..

We need to teach our children, have them carry their own polycarbonite water bottle filled with pure water everywhere they go. My children carried it in the house and out of the house for 2-3 months before their hydration levels were where they needed to be. I have three children without allergies, asthma, weight issues, or any another medical diagnosis. They have been supplementing as long as they remember - we learned early our bodies require more than our food supply can offer and better than our water supply can offer..

Sometimes the sheer numbers of sick people who I meet take me over the top and I want to shout from the highest building that "if not us, who?" is going to make the changes we need to make? We need to become more focused on serving ourselves because what we ingest determines the state of our health..

Recently someone was convicted they were ill because of their weak "genetics", I explained my domino theory - the first 10 dominos that fall when we begin to go upside down on our acidity are symptoms we all share; tiredness, digestive issues, maybe heartburn or sleep issues, leg cramps, maybe cold hands and feet, headaches, weight gain, etc., but as we become more acidic more dominos fall, and eventually we get to the "genetic dominos"..

And the moral to that story is pH Balance - the less dominos that fall, the less likely you'd even be talking about your genetics..

Happy Bewitching Week Everyone!.

PURE
WATER

• C o o l a n d C l e a r

While most of us agree pure
drinking water is vital, pure
water is also broad-spectrum
to our health.

Our bodies are mostly water,
i.e., the average adult body is 70% water,
and our blood contains 93% - 95% water.

Lacking a pure water source, we could be
ingesting and absorbing dangerous chemicals,
bacteria, metals, and other contaminants
while we drink or prepare food; and
at much higher levels, through our skin and
lungs when we wash, bathe, or shower, especially
with warmer water.

Tap water is no longer a trusted source
of at least drinking water, evidenced by
the exploding bottled water industry. This
is true even though every city water utility
in the U.S. is processing and treating water
by various means, to meet the “clean water”
guidelines as set forth by the EPA (Environmental
Protection Agency).

The EWG (Environmental Working
Group) performed an analysis of more than
22 million sample quality tests, “A National
Assessment of Tap Water Quality”,
and their chief finding was “More than 140
contaminants with no enforceable safety
limits were found…” In addition to the 119
contaminants that have water safety regulations,
brings this total to over 260 different
contaminants noted on this one study.
Other studies have revealed up to thousands
of contaminants.

The Washington Post quotes Jim Elder,
who headed the EPA’s drinking water program
in the early nineties, as saying “I fear
for the safety of our nation’s drinking water.
Apparently it’s a real crapshoot as to what’s
going to come out of the tap and whether it
will be healthy or not.”

Bottled water carries the “good” water
message, but in most cases, tap water adheres
to stricter purity standards. Bottled
water has become known as the “healthy
favorite” and this industry has grown over
300% in the last ten years, reaching 10 billion
wholesale dollars in 2005.

The definition of bottled water is “drinking
water packaged in bottles for individual
consumption and retail sale”. However,
water used in the bottling process may be
from any source, including spring water,
well water, purified water, municipal water,
or even untreated water. An NRDC (Natural
Resource Defense Council) earlier study
tested 38 brands of California bottled waters,
several violated the California bottle
water standards, and contaminants were
evidenced. Bottled water has become overpriced,
under tested, and served up in questionable
plastic bottles as a food group.
This does not mean every bottled water
is unhealthy, it means “consumer beware”
in an industry where there are regulatory gaps between states and
federal agencies resulting in careless products with misleading labels
and misleading source water. The EPA has no authority over bottled
water.

Water Filters have become inadequate and Health Systems are
gaining popularity. Health Systems with cutting edge technology
utilizing all 4 KDF media (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) combined
with GAC (Granulated Active Carbon), are gaining recognition as
being both filtering and successfully purifying, i.e., removing chemicals,
metals, bacteria, nitrates, as well as many other contaminants.
Health systems and filtration systems are either Point of Use
(POU), at a specific faucet or showerhead for apartment dwelling,
and as Point of Entry (POE) for residential, schools, and commercial
use. Filtering will remove contaminant specific such as a showerhead
will remove chlorine, versus a Health System will deliver
pure water, i.e., POE delivers through every faucet in our home or
commercial building.

Perhaps focusing our spending and demonstrating need, the same
way we encouraged sales of healthier foods, will increase the sales of
Health Systems, ensuring a much healthier future, one we all benefit
clean water in our homes, schools and places of business. •
